We invite you to visit the Triangle Ranch, 2023's 7th most wish-listed home in the world. Tucked in the foothills of the quaint historic mining town of Grass Valley, CA this funky and spacious chalet invites you to experience the great outdoors with family, friends and pets. Enjoy the hot tub, basketball court, treehouse, kid rooms, bbq, fire-pit, pickle-ball, horseshoe, disc-golf, home theater, and more. One hour from Tahoe and 10 minutes to town, you’re never short of things to explore.

Good to know

The Triangle Ranch sits on 3.25 private acres and boasts 5 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, including a bonus floor living room, loft, and private kids playroom. Outside, there is a hot tub, basketball court, fenced dog area and kids treehouse in addition to a deck & expansive patio with a large picnic table for hosting outdoor meals. There are 4 queen bedrooms and a kid’s bunk room giving plenty of room for families with children to enjoy each other while all having their own space. The kitchen is well appointed and includes a bonus coffee bar with an Espresso machine, coffee pot, and Keurig. The home is situated 10 minutes from downtown Grass Valley which is famous for its rich mining history, historic sites, wine tasting, fine dining and shopping. It is only 5 minutes drive from the county Fairgrounds which hosts frequent concerts and events. Just an hour from Tahoe, you can enjoy a day of skiing or swimming and retreat to the cabin after your adventures. Linens, towels, and toiletries are provided. The house also has basic equipment for children including a pack-n-play, toys, sippy cups, etc. We are happy to share our space with people who want to use it as a retreat to enjoy quality time with friends and family, but please note this is not a party rental. We are a pet friendly property, within reason. Please contact your host in advance to confirm our pet policy and to let us know what furry friends you'd like to bring. Please note that this is a remote location with lots of wildlife, creatures big and small frequent the property.

Other Details to Note

Dogs are safe here with a totally fenced-in backyard area for them :) we charge a $75 pet fee *We collect a $250 security deposit for all reservations. The deposit is processed 2 days prior to arrival and is fully released 2 days after checkout, provided there are no damages or violations of the house rules.

House Rules: •We ask that you treat our home with the same respect that you do your own. •This is a non-smoking home. A $250 fee will be charged for violations. •Please, no shoes in the house. •No events or parties are permitted. •Please observe a courtesy quiet hour from 10 pm to 8 am to respect our neighbors. •Only guests listed on the original booking are allowed to stay overnight. •Please do not move large furniture. A $100 fee will be charged if furniture is moved. •Please leave items where you found them. •Items left behind: A minimum $50 convenience fee, plus actual postage costs, will be charged to cover the time and effort involved in retrieving and returning items. Please note that we cannot guarantee the recovery or return of all items left behind. •No unauthorized early check-ins or late check-outs. Unauthorized late check-outs will incur a $100 fee for the first hour and an additional $100 for each subsequent hour. •Please do not feed the wildlife. •All pets MUST be leashed while outdoors in unfenced areas. Pets are not allowed on furniture, beds, or couches.

We had a fantastic stay for our large group of friends and young kids. The location is peaceful with beautiful views off the porch. Deer and turkeys abound. Lots to do in and outside the home. Grass Valley and Nevada city close by and plenty of activities/restaurants to explore. Would definitely stay again, great hosts!

Our group of 6 adults loved staying here! Plenty of space to hang out together with local friends that visited for the day. It was a beautiful property and not much left to be desired. I would book again without hesitation. Among the few things important to me: great water pressure in the shower and no complaints of running out of hot water. Bonus having a filtered water dispenser at the sink. Very peaceful stay.

We had an amazing stay at this place in Grass Valley! From the moment we arrived, everything was easy and stress-free. The location was perfect—close to town but still peaceful and relaxing, making it a great home base for exploring the area and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. One of our favorite parts of the stay was how peaceful and quiet the area was. It made it really easy to relax and unwind after a day out. The space itself was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. Access and check-in were super simple, which made the whole experience smooth from start to finish. On top of that, the hosts were fantastic—communication was quick, friendly, and helpful the entire time. Overall, this was a great stay and we’d absolutely come back again. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Grass Valley!

This was our best adventure yet. We felt very comfy inside. The A line design was very smart. Each space was utilized to the max without feeling crowded. We felt together as a family, even when someone wanted to read upstairs or be in the kitchen or living room. The patio was covered so we got to see the rain and snow. We loved the gated area for the dogs. It even felt safe to let the kids play in that area. Next time I’ll bring binoculars, there is so much wildlife to view from the porch. The house was everything we needed. We can’t wait to go back to this house for our future adventures.

The house was beautiful with a very unique design. The environment was quiet and peaceful, making it a perfect getaway for a group. The host was extremely responsive and available at all times, quickly solving anything we needed. We truly enjoyed our stay. The area also offers outdoor sports activities; unfortunately, it was rainy during our visit so we couldn’t use them, but we still loved relaxing on the beautiful balcony. Overall, a wonderful experience and highly recommended.
