A last minute cancellation of our previous booking lead us to this gorgeous place. Foothill management saved our vacation to Nevada City we can’t thank them enough. The place is squeaky clean, felt like at home. The kitchen is my favorite spot. The masters bedroom and master’s bathroom is wonderful. It’s private yet the hallmark like downtown is walkable from the house. We enjoyed the nearby amenities including snowboarding at Borreal Mountain. We will definitely come back again.

The house was beautiful with a very unique design. The environment was quiet and peaceful, making it a perfect getaway for a group. The host was extremely responsive and available at all times, quickly solving anything we needed. We truly enjoyed our stay. The area also offers outdoor sports activities; unfortunately, it was rainy during our visit so we couldn’t use them, but we still loved relaxing on the beautiful balcony. Overall, a wonderful experience and highly recommended.

We recently stayed for a holiday “escape”. The house was perfectly suited to our family’s needs, and felt welcoming and comfortable upon arrival. They even had the dining table set for us with holiday themed settings. Instructions were clear and arrival and entry were easy. The home was well stocked with back up towels, garbage bags, and all the essentials for a stay away. Evan was responsive and hospitable, even when the wind caused the wifi to go offline someone came ASAP to correct it with no inconvenience to us even though it was a holiday! The location was perfect to enjoy the area, with Grass Valley and Nevada City a quick jaunt, many stores, restaurants, and amenities available in addition to tons of great hiking trails, parks. It was even a reasonable drive to the snow without committing to a “snow trip”. When we did not feel like going anywhere, we cozied up on the big couch and spending time there felt relaxing and cozy. Highly recommend and hope we can return. :)

We loved staying here over Christmas! The kitchen and living room had a lot of space to spread out, cook meals and be with the family. The WiFi worked great and the spa was a real treat! We brought our dog and the backyard was perfect for him to run around - very secure. The house is an ideal distance to downtown, and still very quiet and peaceful. We'd stay here again!

This stay was absolutely outstanding — easily one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever experienced. The home was perfect for our family with young kids — safe, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out so everyone felt comfortable. The interior was decorated beautifully with a style that felt both cozy and elevated. The backyard was amazing — plenty of space for the kids to run around, great outdoor seating, and beautiful pool. During a storm that knocked out power in town, the Tesla Powerwall saved the day and kept everything running smoothly — a huge relief and a testament to how well-equipped this place is. The host clearly cares about quality and guest comfort. We had zero issues, and we left wishing we could stay even longer. We hope to return for another visit soon — this place truly felt like a home away from home.

What a lovely house in a serene and beautiful setting. We had a small family reunion and the house was a perfect spot for us all to unwind and connect (while we admired the deer and turkeys wandering outside). We loved the home decor and unique decor/style.

Joy & Evan are the best hosts I've experienced through Air BnB, they were amazingly responsive when anything was needed. The house itself was exactly how it was described and the surroundings were stunning. We went to their home for my 31st birthday and it was one of the best trips I've been on. The hot tub and fire pit were perfect on a December night. The pickleball and basketball brought all of us back to childhood and were awesome activities to play throughout the day. The deck offered so much space for morning coffee and viewing of the stars (we saw 10+ shooting stars from the deck, that's some good energy!) at night. Everything was clean and orderly when we arrived. Check in and check out were so simple and easy. The loft space was a fun throwback to childhood sleepovers. The house was away from street noise but also quick to downtown Grass Valley and lots of hiking. We truly had an incredible time and we will absolutely be back!! Thank you SO MUCH Joy and Evan!!

Joy is one of the best hosts. the Triangle Ranch was beautiful; the pictures only show a small portion of what a beautiful homestead it is. We saw some wildlife a turkey and dear. We had our staff retreat here and the environment and options for seating made it so amazing. My staff came back to the office restored and ready to hit the ground running. Thank you, Joy, for your hospitality. I would bring a flashlight if you arrive after dark during the winter months, it is very dark outside. We are glad we arrived during sunset. If your going for a get away with family or friends, it is great. the Main floor is perfect for entertainment, games and simply watching TV. Thanks.

Myself and 6 longtime girlfriends had an amazing weekend stay at this gorgeous property! We were so happy with the location location location …easily walkable to downtown, and to an awesome hike (Deer Creek Tribute Trail)… we loved that we didn’t have to get in our cars or take Ubers anywhere! We LOVED the big living room/couch so that we can all sit around comfortably. The hot tub was a plus. Joy answered within a couple minutes anytime I had a question. Great communication. Would 100% stay here again!

The house was fantastic! Much bigger than expected which gave our group space to spread out. Walkable and somewhat easy walk to the cute downtown area where there were plenty of food options, cool shops and lovely neighborhoods to admire.
